Every year, I like to set goals for myself. It can be about anything. In 2013, I want to focus on moving forward in life. I want to finish college soon and start my career but that won't happen until I face a few obstacles that are in my way. One of them will be publishing a novel. I've been holding back for a long time now but I think this year, I want to start putting the plan in motion. I'm not saying that publishing is going to happen this year but I think that it should be something I should prepare for.
Another thing I would like to prepare myself for is editing. I would like to get a bit more of this under my belt but I've never really had that chance to do it for someone or myself. Sure, whenever I read fanfics I tend to go through and edit them but that's because I just can't help myself.
Goals:
Write 1,000,000 words by the end of the year
Move to Portland
Finish 1 novel completely (edits and everything)
Read 20 books
Finish 10 first drafts of 10 different novels
Write at least 1 blog post a week.
Write 1 romance novel...no matter how hard it might be.
Complete Writing Course at least once.
Keep room clean
Join a critique group - maybe
